Sports: AFL Football
This Terms sporting game is all about that great Aussie institution that we call Football or “Aussie Rules”.
Each week I will be teaching the children the importance of stretching before and after physical activity and showing them how to warm up and cool down before and after each game.
Throughout Term 2 we will be learning how to hold, pass, bounce and kick the football as well as some of the rules.
We will end the Term with making a team outfit and coming up with a team name – all suggestions welcomed.
So move over ‘Freo Dockers’ because here come the……….. (the children will choose a team name in week eight)!!
